Hey Nathan (@rukky_nate),
I'm not sure what public image you're trying to cultivate here, but I assume you see yourself as an intellectual and a thought leader.
Posts like this undermine that image because what you stated is blatantly ahistorical.
The idea of Lilith being Adam's first wife did not appear until roughly 1,000 years after Christ.
That means it was not in existence during the formation of the New Testament canon.
The story appears in a satirical work called The Alphabet of Ben Sira.
It is an anonymous work, written around the 10th century AD. That's it.
It is a fictional, satirical text. Yet you presented it as historical fact, even claiming that "the Church suppressed that narrative."
You also claimed it was removed from the canon. Which canon?
The story never appeared in the earliest biblical manuscripts.
It never appeared in the Dead Sea Scrolls.
It never appeared in the Septuagint.
It never appeared in the Samaritan Pentateuch.
It never appeared in the Masoretic Text.
It never appeared in the thousands of Hebrew or Greek biblical manuscripts that have been preserved.
It is a 10th-century satire. So where, exactly, did the Church remove it from? And what makes it a "more obvious" version of the creation story?
I'd advise you to be more careful about the information you put out on social media before speaking so confidently about it.
Recently, I found out that Eve in the Bible wasn’t the first woman God created.
Before Eve, there was Lilith as revealed by biblical scholars and ancient texts.
She was created from the same dust as Adam, and not from his ribs like Eve.
Lilith refused to be beneath Adam, she declared herself his equal, and for that she was casted out.
So God created Eve instead. A more agreeable version. The church has largely buried this narrative.
But it sits somewhere in ancient Hebrew texts and has never been fully disproven. So the first woman in creation was not removed because she sinned, she was replaced because she refused to submit.
Interesting. I wonder what later became of Lilith the outcast.
Please report this pedophile’s account. He was caught sending nude pictures to minors on Tiktok. I wanted to repost but he had already blocked me (ofcourse). He’s trying to reintegrate into social media space so that he can prey on more girls.
i just heard someone on TikTok say “this is the first time in history women are dating men for their character. and that’s why no one is dating.” and she was right.
