In the wake of anti-Asian violence, Duke Asian student organizations have come together to demand the following commitments, go to the links to read and sign our petition (THREAD)
as/am studies to us means a political commitment to forging better futures, which means acknowledging that we're grieving more than the loss of affirmative action. without naming the violence with which this ruling is entangled, how can we dream about the worlds we deserve?

we're trying to name the insufficiency of the responses from many as/am orgs (including @AAAStudies) and think outside of the fold of liberalism which posits this debate as centered around access to higher ed.
