@AOT2 You guys should read to comprehend na.
The writer said "I THINK"
It's his opinion, there's no place here where he states it as a FACT.
Na him OPINION and everyone is allowed to have one.
I personally think AG & TAT are both classic albums.
LIFE is a good project however.
#MyTake
One of the main reasons I left a global record label years ago was the endless meetings around simple ideas that needed quick execution—yet somehow never got executed. Too many meetings drain me; they slow things down and kill momentum.
After I left, I got offers from other labels, but I turned them down. I needed the freedom to move fast and bring my ideas to life. The first project I tested that approach on was ILGWT (Wurld & Sarz), and it worked. From there, I applied the same execution style to subsequent projects.
Maybe someday I’ll return to working with a label—but only in a leadership position that allows me to execute ideas effectively.

Every time I remember this thing eh...
Nigeria is a WILD place...
Industry BAN...
Don't forget that another ban came oh, the one that drove them into music ---> Nkem Owoh, Jim Iyke, Genevieve Nnaji, Omotola Jade all have a music album.
That one was from the marketers.
In 2005, the Actors Guild of Nigeria did something extraordinary.
They banned five of the biggest names in Nollywood.
Genevieve Nnaji. Richard Mofe-Damijo. Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde. Ramsey Nouah. Pete Edochie.
The reason?
They were charging too much money.
Their fees had risen to the point where producers complained they couldn't afford the stars that audiences actually wanted to watch.
The Guild's solution: ban them from working until they agreed to lower their rates.
Think about what this means.
The most talented, most sought-after, most bankable actors in Nigerian cinema, told by their own professional association to accept less money because the market had decided they were worth too much.
The ban did not last.
But it was a preview of the structural tension that has always run through Nollywood: between the craftspeople who create the value, and the system that doesn't want to pay them for it.
Some things in the industry have not changed.
When I was a kid practicing my writing, I had one older friend in chruch who gave me the most encouragement. His name was Mr Umanah, and for many years, he was my only audience.
See, the world had beaten me heavily. Dead parents, poverty, always on the move, living with strangers, serving my way to an education.
Mr Umanah liked to read, and seeing this orphan boy in church who was not only a reader, but also trying out writing, he was interested. He critiqued everything I wrote, always told me to abandon my 'big' words and use simpler sentences. He was my first editor.
And that encouraged me. Every week, I would write the craziest stories and poems, waiting for Sunday, impatient to rush to Mr Umanah as I arrived church, and proudly hand him my scraps of paper.
And he read them during service and sought me out after service. Mr Umanah also gave me my first gift of books, and when I got into secondary school — after the passing of my 'educational guardian' — he assumed that role, ensuring my scholarship was in good stead.
Mr Umanah is late now. God bless his soul. But that brand of selflessness to help an orphan boy hone his writing skills, and get an education was foundational to everything I've become. He'll be chuffed that I grew up to write for the New York Times, a paper he liked to reference.
I just thought about him this morning and said a prayer. God bless him. His kindness set me up for a better life. ❤️🥺
