Twitter is a leveler and that’s why it’s anybody with a smartphone and data that can tweet their opinions no matter how flawed or inaccurate. Always remember “their perceptions do not equate to your reality”. Know this and know peace.
The day I saw PO with the Centerion card I had my mouth open. It’s an invitation only card.
No matter your billions, it’s when they invite you to get it that you can get it.
We don’t know how big he is.
"In 1987, American Express introduced platinum card for 5000 people, here is mine, they later introduced the Black card (Centurion card) in 1999 for 1000 people on the planet, here is mine. I had a viable business and while I don't regret going into Politics, it made me poorer." - Peter Obi, NDC Presidential Candidate.
"Agbogidi, you caused me a lot of trouble when I was Governor of Anambra State,"
— Peter Obi joked as he paid tribute to the Obi of Onitsha, Igwe Naemeka Alfred Achebe, during his 85th birthday celebration.
"Next International Uk as at the day I was declared Governor received an overdraft of over $7m dollars & had over 200 containers on the sea. I phoned my wife and told her to take charge and subsequently resigned from a total of 11 companies on that day" - Peter Obi NDC presidential Candidate.
I have just seen the VIDEO of Isaac Fayose revealing that INEC distributed voters' cards in Ekiti to only APC members, and non-indigenes were handed abandoned cards with N20k bribe to vote for APC in the ongoing governorship election.
This sounds similar to what is currently happening in Lagos. INEC machines are not available to capture the biometrics of residents in the state who come from certain parts of the country. But residents in areas that are considered APC strongholds have access to the machines and are massively registering freely.
INEC is proving to be the biggest threat to our elections and tottering democracy!✍️
What Peter Obi have been involved in before vying to become governor at the Age of 41!
I dare APC wankers to show me a single individual in your rank with this resumé
You added $42 billion to our national debt and added only $5 billion to our foreign reserve; and you want us to clap for you. 😂😂
Let's put this into context,
Zubairu has N1,000 in his Zenith bank account and he went to Okechukwu and borrowed N5,000.
He took N3,000 from this N5,000 loan and deposited into his Zenith bank account and the account balance increased to N4,000. And he used the remaining N2,000 to flex suya and kunu.
He now called his girlfriend Yetunde and showed her his balance of N4,000; telling her he's account balance is increasing.
Meanwhile, he is owing Okechukwu N5,000.
Is this a progress for Zubairu or backwardness?
Zubairu is Nigeria (Tinubu).
Okechukwu is World Bank.
Yetunde is the citizenry.
Peter Obi became Chairman of Fidelity Bank in 1996 at 34, emerging as the Youngest Chairman to ever head a Bank in Nigeria’s History.
He led the Bank from a Merchant Bank into a 33B Top commercial Bank by 2001.
45 Year olds “Data boys” are on X questioning him.
Omo 🤦🏾♂️
Peter Obi, based on his status as one of the biggest importers at the time were part of those who had different dialogues with Gen Sanni Abacha on the need to decongest Nigerian ports to foster productivity and was later appointed as “Co-opted member” of the task force serving at Apapa port alongside Edwin Okeke.
Co-opted in that letter’s subject means he was appointed based on the vote of existing members of the task force.
I’m seeing some APC minions trying to tie PO’s enormous wealth to the appointment and I understand yet again why these guys don’t see Nigeria’s alarming number of “Out of school” children as a big deal because how can you be educated and say these kinds of bullocks?
He wasn’t even Chairman of the Original Task Force or even Chairman of the Co-opted members of the task force LMAO 😂😂
I know it’s alien to you lot but some people actually made their money legitimately and Peter Obi is one of them. Why do you think people like me are following him?
Criminals.
Good news: Dr. Iheukwumere Ikechukwu of the Department of Microbiology at COOU has been sacked by the Governing Council of Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University.
He sexually abused students and engaged in different forms of misconduct.
Four other academic staff members were also sacked, including two professors.
We are restoring integrity in our universities, which will in turn improve the quality of our graduates.
Atedo Peterside, the founder of IBTC Bank (now Stanbic IBTC), says that society is rigged against young people. Rules have been put in place so they don't succeed.
Nigerians, as they got older, kept on changing the rules to make sure young people didn't repeat what they did.
"Don't be deterred by their threats to rig elections. This time, our votes must count. If it doesn't count, those who refuse count it, we will count them."
- Peter Obi on 2027 elections.
Open Apology Letter to the Obidient Movement
My Dear Obidient Family, I come before you today with a heavy heart, deep humility, and no excuses. Some time ago, in a moment of frustration and immaturity, I wrote and released a resignation letter as Director of Mobilization. In that letter, I allowed deep frustration & personal emotions to cloud my judgment. I made statements that subtly and unnecessarily dragged Peter Obi, a man I still respect for his vision, integrity, and sacrifice for this nation. That was wrong. It was childish, and beneath the standard I should have upheld, especially as someone who once held a leadership position in this movement.
I take full responsibility. No one forced me to write it. No one edited it. It came from me, and it was a mistake. I deleted the letter afterwards, but I know deletion does not erase the damage, the disappointment, or the loss of trust many of you felt. I understand why some of you no longer respect me the way you once did. You had every right to feel let down.
To Peter Obi himself (fondly called PO): Sir, I am sincerely sorry. My words were not a true reflection of the values of sacrifice, accountability, and constructive criticism that you preach. I failed in that moment. To every single Obidient, the ones who stayed grinding, the ones who defended the vision even when it was tough, the ones who felt betrayed by my actions, I am deeply sorry. You are the real heroes of this movement. Many of you are young people full of hope and fire for a better Nigeria. You didn’t deserve to see internal cracks turned into public drama. I let you down.
I am not writing this because I want something or a position in the movement as I’m enjoying private life. I am writing it because it is the right thing to do. Leadership is not only about when the road is sweet and smooth; it is also about owning up when you mess up. I own this fully. I am committed to rebuilding trust through consistent actions, not just words. But I also know trust is not demanded, it is earned back slowly, if at all. Thank you for reading this.
Whether you accept my apology or not, I respect your feelings and your right to hold me accountable. The love I have for a better Nigeria has not changed. You all know me. My respect for the Obidient spirit remains. I am sorry truly.
With humility and hope for forgiveness,
Your brother in this struggle,
Morris Monye.
Oya come let’s hug. 😊
I’ve spent the past couple of weeks building Looters: a public archive of Nigerian political corruption since the 1990s.
Governors, ministers, shell companies, Swiss accounts, the Jersey trusts, — one searchable graph.
You too can connect the dots: https://t.co/faIfzWfAIp
Dead and alive.
Former or current.
Present or past.
Not a single Nigerian former governor, presidential aspirant, or polictian can call out the EFCC for a wrong doing and remain free the next day.
I Stan, re-Stan, and AfghaniStan you sir.
Nigeria will be OK Insha Allah.
