@Glenjr1988 Both Kyrie/Luka on the floor means you can't have Tim, Jaden, or Dwight there too, but this team looks miserable on defense. No hustle and energy vs opponents on closing out or going for rebounds. Don't like to blame coaches but if you can't set a defensive tone then you gotta go
@CBAMavs Jordan Goodwin would probably be a decent gamble on a rebuilding team and Thaddeus Young for a backup PF if someone's injured but besides that no
@SkinWade@Nathan72583381@MavsFilmRoom Hes been played as a small ball center for almost all seasons with Luka besides a little time in 2020 but his bio has said Forward for the Mavs for forever
@dalton_trigg Don't know why the Nets would give him up for that little but Mavs would be easy contenders with this. Not sure who among Powell, Lively, or Holmes loses minutes with the trade, but the Mavs need a pretty good starting C if they wanna contend. Giving OMax minutes is also good too
@highrollerhoops @JWepp MJ, Hakeem, Admiral, Ewing, and Malone were all undoubtedly better than Scottie between 91-98. Shaq was better since 94, Chuck was better until 97, Dominique until 94, and Drexler until 95, not even mentioning years where Payton and Stockton were arguably as good too.
@christi36276663 @xoJaygo_ @KGsGOAT@DevinBook He didn't really call him out with it, he just asked Klay what his favorite bar he said in game was and mentioned that one. He still agreed with Klay when Klay admitted the 4 rings flex was kinda stupid so it wasn't disrespect
@JudaiSeiruzu9 @xoJaygo_ @KGsGOAT@DevinBook I doubt most people hate him since he's not really a dirty player but it can make him come off as dislikable
@xoJaygo_ @KGsGOAT@DevinBook Hes an amazing player but sometimes does kinda petty things which are very noticeable, like the PG comment recently or the Raptors mascot. Still a top SG in the league tho
@NBA_University Mavs were 4th in the west with a subpar defense before losing DFS during the trade; the games they lost after that were mostly pretry close. Getting an offseason to work with Luka/Kyrie together plus Grant and somewhat better rotation pieces makes them a possible home court team
@TheLeadSM@MavsLead Josh Green will need to start over THJr but maybe. Go get Capela and you're a home court advantage team. Grant wont fix all the defensive issues with the team by himself.
@MavsFilmRoom Crunch time game plays were some of the worst in the league and he has to be better on that. His slight hesitancy to play younger players over vets (whose games we know and aren't getting better) and press conferences were a little annoying as well but not the biggest issue imo
@joelvmoran Probably A- for now, resigning Kyrie and getting a starting PF was really good but they still don't have a starting C, if they get one then they'll easily be A+
