This should be a $10 thought-provoking off-off-Broadway production, not a $200 play on Broadway. This is a poorly written play about an important set of issues that even a stellar cast couldn’t save. 2/2

@minutesbway Saw the play today. The narrative is weak and righteously judgmental attempting to represent “white people” as evil and self-serving in a way that is slapstick, boring, disrespectful, and simply untrue. 1/2

The Minutes on Broadway is terrible. It shows no nuance and, while the subject it sort of tackles is important, it’s just a badly written work that should’t be on Broadway. For anyone wanting to see a good play on how we process race, go see “An Octoroon” by BJJ. #theminutes

@bennyjohnson If I were a baby and I had Down’s syndrome, I’d prefer to be aborted rather than inflict suffering and hardship upon my loved ones. It’s painless and then I could be reborn as a healthy human.
