Was there ever any update on what happened to the ambient music and the reason for removing it?

I am on the first version of the game currently and the amount of ambient music really brought the game to life. Would love to have it back in a updated version of the game.

Hey @UbisoftMTL & @FarCrygame, could you please restore the ambient music in #FarCry4? It added depth to Kyrat’s atmosphere, and its removal after a patch left the game feeling emptier. Many players, including myself, miss it dearly. Hope to see it return in a future update!

@FarCrygame @UbisoftMTL Thank you for your reply. I can confirm that other players are experiencing the same issue. There is a Reddit thread discussing it, and a mod menu is available to restore the ambient music in the background.
