In the coming days, I will be prioritizing environmental and sustainability storytelling. As an Ogoni man from the Niger Delta, this is something that comes naturally to us. I will tell the stories I grew up with, what's happening now, what's being done, and expectations.
Lincgreen hosted us for a unique #WorldEnvironmentDay! I love how they’re using creativity for advocacy. Seated on mats for ‘Looking Beyond Oil: Tales by Moonlight,’ we experienced the Niger Delta story in such a fun, immersive way. More of this, please! #ArtandActivism #Creativeadvocacy #Beyondwords
Getting stuck in the mud three times during my field visit on Thursday was more than just a routine challenge. It in was a powerful lesson on life, community, and the deliberate effort required to correct environmental wrongs.
Every day on the field with #HYPREP for the #Ogonicleanup reinforces a vital truth: no matter how severe the damage, there is always a path to a remedy. Seeing our remediation and ecosystem restoration efforts take shape first-hand fills me with immense hope.
We are not just cleaning up the environment; we are carving out a better, sustainable future for Ogoniland and the Niger Delta. Proud of the journey, inspired by the community, and fully committed to the restoration ahead.

Cubana Chiefpriest, the king of City Boys, got humbled by the village elders. City boy is blaming the elders for his failure. (another mistake). Welcome to the village bro. You just learnt. There's more to life than hype.
Many of us are a bit too hasty for certain thoughts. Sometimes, we should learn to avoid what we don’t understand. Until you’ve felt pain so deep that the only consolation you have is trying to mock it, you may never really capture this moment. The laughing emoji is a deeper tear than we may ever decipher. This tribute can break anyone, and this is as sad as any you will ever find.
The highlight of the past week for me was following the Project Coordinator of #HYPREP, @ZabbeyNeni for project inspection.
My story is in slides:
IMO certified training of 350 Ogoni youths for participation in the Mangrove restoration and shoreline remediation projects. A total of 1400 will be trained for this phase of the activity.
Inspection of the water station at K-Dere in Gokana LGA.
Ongoing Ogoni Power project substation at Bodo. #Ogonicleanup #HYPREP #Storytelling
@official_esclub Osimhem has grown I to a more popular player. The papers are talking about him more than they are talking about Kva. No doubt, Kva has won more, is doing quite well, but Osimhen has gained more popularity, and positive ones too.
Congratulations, Prof. @ZabbeyNeni, on marking your 3rd year at the helm, championing the #Ogonicleanup through @HYPREPNigeria.
You walked the talk long before taking on this role, and your dedicated research on the Ogoni environment has proven to be far more than a mere academic exercise.
Thank you for your unwavering commitment. May you continue to be elevated to even greater responsibilities.
Congratulations @ZabbeyNeni for winning the Social Impact Man of the Year 2025 at the #IndependentAwards2025. That's a big recognition of your unwavering commitment to getting the Ogoni environment and livelihoods on track
