Bogle is too slow and defensively weak
Bijol is too slow
GG defensively naive (8/9 goals before Xmas guilty)
We need to play 4 so at least two of those (Bogle/Bijol) don’t work
Need a better RB or Rodon there and a new RCB so we get the extra body higher up the pitch

@Sam_LUFC__ Unfortunately mate Bogle is poor defensively and lacks pace which is one of the reasons we have to play 5 at the back. It 100% restricts progress in the PL. GG also has weaknesses. Our past CBs were also short paced and naive. It means we can’t play with 4 offensive players.

@Leighton_Leeds We need to play a back four to evolve for sure. The issue is Bijol, Bogle and to a certain extent GG are too defensively slow and poor in a 4.
A quicker RB (or RCB if Rodon goes RB) are needed.
This Bogle love in needs to stop if we’re to move forward

He could turn out to be a very good player but he’s far from that now. £25m is strong anymore is crazy, we have a limited budget and many positions to fill.
He only played 31 games last year in championship. Don’t lose your head fella.

@_RB_Ash Mate - 100% a back 4 is best going forward providing we have the players to play it.
It frees up a 10/AM and two wingers BUT..
It relies on a defensive unit capable and that doesn’t include Bogle, Bijol or GG as all too slow/immobile. 5 was the solution.Maybe theirs incomings!!
