Mom's funeral is at 2pm today. I'm hanging in there, but damn am I on edge. I'm hoping that having a ceremony will give me some closure. I've already started to move forward, but sometimes I'll just catch a gut punch from something random.

I've been to 3 polling sites so far, dropping off fresh baked goods and fruit. There have been teenage poll workers at each one. That's exciting to see young people getting involved in democracy.
