@MollieDamon That might explain where all the 'new' covert members came from this season. Everyone with an apprentice was off travelling, then after the covert was destroyed in S1, they all came back to rebuild. I don't recall seeing any kids in S1.

@MollieDamon Probably for the same reason that jedi sent masters out with their apprentices instead of just keeping them at the temple. Get experience, see the universe. Din has already talked to Grogu about the importance of learning to navigate the galaxy, it all seems to follow.
