This is what I mean by Ghetto culture.

Both men and women act like dogs in heat. The woman in in this concert shows no shame. She opens her mouth and sticks it out like a dog. The musician humps her just as a dogwood in public.

People like this need to be restrained. Sexual activity belongs in privacy. That is why sexual body parts are called private parts. Exhibiting private parts in public is a violation of our social code.

The inability of the state and demanded agencies to restrain to suppress these indecencies and obscenities forces the public to take a radical stand.

They've become emboldened. Because no action is taken against them. Even where the low is specifically violated, action is not taken.

This is a typical video on your television station everyday. It became promax during the days of covid lockdown. The activities of the nightclub where pumped directly into our sitting rooms in the names of entertainment.

What do you think children raised on this obscenities will turn out to be? What happens to the spaces where young people get together away from the supervision of adults? The shouts in the crowd is a reflection of what has been planted into the minds of this young generation.

After this a nude video will be released to a company this act. Someone here and there will give a speech but not much really happen. Agencies mandated to protect our moral code on social order a sleeping on the job.

The biggest problem is that they only act after the fact. If no one complains if no one files a complaint, they assume that everything is okay. The failure of putting up on an early warning system to identify violation of minimum broadcasting standards on our media houses has led to the current state of saturation with obscenities and indeciences.

It now looks normal. It's like part of our daily existence. But it should not be. We members of the intellectual class should not accept the status of things. We should not watch the decline of our moral social order and accept it without protest.

I think beginning Monday we should all become citizen journalists. We should use that digital phones to snap record and post the violation of a moral code by this musicians televisions radio and internet.

I think we should start with sharing with the Uganda communications commission. This commission is mandated to handle all matters related to content. The law provides for a contents committee which has not yet been activated. The absence of this content committee has created a lacuna in handling matters of content.

These events happen, they are posted on tiktok, what's app and even on television stations. Until We the People bang the table we will stay in business as usual. We need emergency response. We need a fundamental change. The current method of leaving people to self-regulate is not working. These people are making money out of this. They will not give it up willingly.

If the Lord does not come down hard on them. It will continue as it has been. But for the Law to be implemented members of civil Society must speak out our protest. Our voice must be heard loudly. We must tell president @KagutaMuseveni and @JanetMuseveni that this is unacceptable for his #Bazzukulu. (grandchildren).

Starting MONDAY let us start a 30 day campaign to EXPOSE these violations. Take a photo or video or recordings.. Share it here with Jaja, @KagutaMuseveni and first lady @JanetMuseveni and @UCC_ED @UCC_Official ..
