For folks who are interested in such things, I just looked up my level progression over the years at Microsoft. (Image is the same data as a chart)
Hire at L60
L61 -- Dec 1999
L62 -- Feb 2001
L63 -- Dec 2005
L64 -- Mar 2008
L65 -- Sept 2011
L66 -- Sept 2015
L67 -- Sept 2018
Someone asked me what level I started at Microsoft, my progression through levels, etc... so I had to go look it up. Started as a L60 back in May of 1999! So 23 years as of yesterday
Vittorio has left this world today ๐ข
He was a unique individual. Full of passion, curiosity, knowledge, wisdom and sense of humor. โBuongiorno Eveybody!โ he would start every conference talk.
I am only grateful to him. Auth0 is the result of his influence and passion for identity ๐
I am very sad but also relieved that I was able to tell him how much I loved and admired him the last few months while he was sick.
Thank you Vitto, you will be missed but your legacy will be always remembered โจ
One of my favorite features shipped in @stripe docs recently: you can now hover over api parameters in code snippets to get in-context definitions i.e. no more having to navigate away and break flow to get this information ๐
We updated the search UX on https://t.co/yyVtMQQIl9, it's not a huge change, but there's a new feature we haven't added any advertisement about yet...
Hint: try typing API: in the prompt ๐
๐จ Just a reminder: I'm hosting some great folks from Google who have even greater insights on Core Web Vitals, their evolution and some of the most significant changes in recent times. Join us. Link below.

Because of the pay gap, women have lost out on more than $60 trillion in wages since 1967.
Yes, trillion.
Today women still earn roughly 82 cents for every dollar earned by men, despite playing an outsized role in our economy.
We must ensure fair wages for all.
This is a reckless comment from a lawyer who knows better. No one is jailing anyone at will. A grand jury has found probable cause of crimes. Trump gets due process, like everyone else. He gets jailed only if a jury finds guilt beyond a reasonable doubt and a judge imposes jail.
As a company of developers, building for developers, we care *a lot* about developer tools.
So we built Workbenchโa first-of-its-kind dev tool that lets you look under the hood to understand, debug, and grow your Stripe integration.
Then with @micaelaballew, I got the chance to build https://t.co/QyrhJnRZG8. I desperately wanted to make this animation extra special, so I quietly snuck in an easter egg to make the buttons clickable.

@jeffwilcox @holz_bau @DonaldShoup Yep, from Redmond, for a week trip or less, it's cheaper to park than do Uber. Did an 9 day recently and it was probably a bad choice, but went with it for the convenience of walking right to my car after arriving
I had an awesome time interviewing @dwizzzleMSFT. Dave is super smart and a champion for security researchers and the hacker community. I'm now also convinced he's cloned himself and/or created a pocket universe in order to undertake all of his extra-curricular hobbies. ๐ Enjoy!
