The Pearl-bordered Fritillary is Britain’s second most threatened butterfly, having declined by -95% since the 70s. We are working to protect this species as part of our Morecambe Bay Woodlands project. Please donate to help us save this species https://t.co/YMMUSRA7Zf

[Little Green Space 🦋 @LGSpace]

Only 3% of UK wildflower meadows are left. RT if you think we should give bumblebees and solitary bees a fighting chance by growing more wildflowers in our gardens, communities and green spaces, and by avoiding pesticides and weedkillers 🐝

Sow peas for pea shoots now! If you have a sunny windowsill, you could have pea shoots in three weeks if you plant them now. It’s a fun activity for the whole family 🌱

Where do butterflies and moths go in #winter? ❄️

Unlike mammals and birds, butterflies and moths rely mainly on external sources of heat to warm their bodies so that they can be active. Discover how they cope with the season's colder temperatures 👉 https://t.co/XLLyAPcWGS

Following a decision by the Government to allow the emergency use of #Neonics, Butterfly Conservation signed a joint letter calling for the approval to be overturned.
