Morning mouse catching at @FSC_Millport. We managed to catch 5 mice in our 11 traps which is definitely some sort of record! All very happy to be fed and sheltered overnight then we let them go after having a wee look 🐁🐭🤍

New S3s Caellin and Louie were using the microscopes to look at the structures in plant and animal cells 🔬 🧑‍🔬

Our ambassadors visited West Mains Primary on Monday and armed the pupils with the skills required to present to their parents on their STEM family learning night. This was the most popular activity and the pupils demonstrated their knowledge perfectly! 🧪🔬

Our N5s have been testing the requirements for photosynthesis. They found that starch is only produced when the leaves have light, CO2 and chlorophyll.

Our S6 Biology ambassadors - Ewan, Sam, Holly and Sophie. They have been doing lots of great work with primaries and ate planning more visits before their exam leave.
