My projected dividend payout for 2027 is over 1800 euro.
My goal for this year was to get that amount over 2k at end of the year. Looks like i'm gonna make it.
It's not alot but Dividend investing is slow. Snowball gotta start somewhere.
I hate margin, how ever i am currently in margin. I had to buy some shares. How ever, i keep it at a managable low amount.. Just like selling options, keep it managable.
Risk - reward must be worth it. Overrisking isn't!
This is the exact reason why i didnt write 2 CSP's.
I can manage 1, i cant afford 2.. Premium was great. But if the market pulls back, i'm not blowing it up in my own face!
If you got destroyed on your options today because of one red day, you were too aggressive. You weren’t doing the math you were gambling.
We had over $200,000 in CSPs expire today and only a few positions needed any attention. That's what proper strike selection, position sizing, and risk management look like.
Selling options can be a money printer, but only if you're calculated. Too many people get greedy, chase premium, and eventually get smoked.
Not here. Not my followers. We play the probabilities and let the math do the work.
@DividendMil I sell options as well, but only 1 CSP. Reason why is because if i take 2, it's gonna blow up in my face for the exact reason.
1 CSP i can manage for now until i got enough cash for 2.. Even tho i would have loved 2 for the premium. (i'm still safe with my CSP)
@DividendMil I give time to get paid by my job.
I then use my money to buy back time. And hopefully retire early.
I started Dividend investing and selling options start of this year.
Not getting much yet but compounding will do the job!
@DividendMil We love Louieeee. Thank you for giving the good boy a bear hug and getting a pup cup! He deserves one. (even two but we know we all gotta stay on a diet)
@RealStevenFat1@chesir3cat@realroseceline Valuation is indeed not cheap at all. And yes.. it's not a monopoly..
Paying out dividends is nice but that's basicly it..
@chesir3cat@realroseceline That was my thought as well.. Pools are expensive. And in recession, those will be reassessed and or cut as much as possible.
I dont think $POOL is interesting at all.
Thanks for answering my questions/comments!
