🇦🇺 Australia – welfare only after years of residency

🇳🇿 New Zealand – same, no contributions = no benefits

🇸🇦 Saudi & Gulf States – if you’re not a citizen, you get nothing, ever

🇨🇾 Cyprus – no benefits without long-term residency and contributions

🇮🇹 Italy – strict means-testing and years of contributions required

🇵🇱 Poland – no welfare for new arrivals without work history

🇯🇵 Japan – extremely strict, foreigners rarely qualify for public assistance

🇰🇷 South Korea – residency and contribution requirements, very limited access

🇸🇬 Singapore – no welfare state for non-citizens, work or leave

🇮🇱 Israel – benefits tied to military service or long-term residency for most

❌ Bottom line: there is no country that lets Brits just turn up and live off their welfare system. None.

✅ But Britain does the opposite:

• Free driving & Tennis lessons

• Free trips out (Zoo, Theme Parks, etc)

All available immediately. No work. No contributions.

Our pensioners choose between heating and eating.

Our veterans sleep rough.

Our families are crushed by tax while services collapse.

Yet billions are handed instantly to strangers who have given nothing.

This is not fairness.

This is not compassion.

This is national self-sabotage.

There are several accounts on X doing posts like this:

🚨BREAKING: it has been revealed that a woman was sexually abused under a bridge in Bristol and the police are covering it up etc etc

They give no source and they know they do not have to back it up with evidence and community notes has no effect because there is no real way to note it.

This is PURE engagement farming and they are having high success rate with it and making a lot of money by spamming these fake stories all day.

They often take a bit of factual news and then twist it and make it sound much worse, this is NOT acceptable.

The legitimate ones who do this usually put a source like [@BBCNews] and often a link to the story below in the comments under the post but these accounts do not even do that.

My advice is if you see accounts doing this call them out for the source or evidence to back up their claim and its spreading disinformation and making up false claims that can be harmful.

@Dearme2_ I got a dog and he was my saviour. He made me happy and it forced me to get out of the house. He knew when I felt low and would comfort me and even cheer me up in the form of the zoomies. I miss my best friend and I will always thank him for everything he did to keep me going.
