Dundee-Nablus Twinning Association

Dundee was the first city in the world to twin with a city in Palestine. This was in 1980 and we celebrate our friendship between our two cities.

The Lord Provost has been arranging individual visits with all four Twinning Associations in connection with their 30th Anniversary.

Today the Lord Provost was presented with a plaque from the City of Nablus following a visit by members of the Dundee-Nablus Twinning Association.

A significant motion by Dundee City Council. This is a present from the people of Dundee to the people of Nablus marking 40 years of twinning between our two cities. The people of Nablus have a right to self-determination but live under military occupation.
