Remember when the MS Society kicked out a 90 year old, whose husband died of MS and who had been a volunteer for 60 years, because she asked what pronouns were?

Well, here is the MS Society doubling down on that decision.

Fighting to find a cure for MS has been Mrs. Fran's life work, and these people pushed her away, because she didn't know why she was being asked what her pronouns were, and had the audacity to ask.

As someone who has been battling MS for a decade, this organization will never have my support again until it reverses its decision and stops its exclusionary policies.

I thought the ASPCA ran most animal shelters.

I was wrong.

They collect more than $300 million (Those sad commercials with dogs in cages are a gold mine) in donations, but spend only 2% of that on shelters.

A two-year-old Alberta girl is dead.

Her family says a negligent doctor sent her home twice while she was getting worse.

But the African-trained 'doctor' did not magically appear in that clinic.

Some Canadian official certified him AFTER he had been suspended in South Africa.

Somebody looked at his history, his credentials, his file - and decided he was good enough to treat Canadian children.

Good enough for somebody else’s baby.

Now that baby is dead.

Name the person who signed off. Make them pay for their incompetence, sloth, negligence.

Aboriginal Peoples Television Network (APTN) reported that violent encounters between security guards and Indigenous people have become an increasingly common occurrence in Winnipeg.

What do you notice about the security guards, whose job is supposed to be to observe and report, not physically assault citizens?

If I recall correctly, many of these same First Nations groups previously advocated for open border policies and used slogans such as “No one is illegal on stolen land” at their protests.

Now, they are dealing with some of the consequences of the very policies and ideas they once supported.

Toronto Police officer Farhan Ali has been charged following a Peel Regional Police Special Victims Unit investigation. He is facing multiple charges, including three counts of sexual assault, three counts of assault, and four counts of mischief. Police have released limited details, and the case is now before the courts. Toronto Police confirm he has been suspended with pay, and the alleged incidents occurred while off duty. At the same time, the “officervik” account — known for a strong online presence and appearing in photos with Ali — now appears to be gone. Coincidence or something more? These allegations have not been proven in court.
