@michaelharriot Dear internet, I made a playlist for these. It's collaborative, so add your own. It sounds a little like a drunk wedding DJ. You're welcome. PS I only put "September" on once. https://t.co/IH2JoOUvZX
How to make green transit even greener. Put the tram tracks on a carpet of grass or sedum. 2 kms of track creates 1.5 football fields' worth of green space, reducing air pollution and urban heat island effect.

I know itβs not officially open yet, but I couldnβt resist doing a little ride through the new section of the Hunter Street bike lane in downtown #HamOnt. Couple of thoughts about it. π²
@HamiltonNature@NarcityCanada@RBGCanada What is even more intoxicating is the sweet sweet smell of not traveling between cities during a pandemic.
And also naming the community you are trying to send hordes of humans to, at least they could use our name! #HamOnt
We are not "near Toronto", we are our own city? And could you please have the human decency to NOT traveling to a different city in the middle of a pandemic? #HamOnt
Getting mad and doing something about your local political scene totally counts as cardio.*
*disclaimer: does not apply to developers who want to pave farmland, or those who think cars are more important than people.
What has walking & biking all fucked up right now? Cars.
Asking drivers nicely to stay inside the lines doesn't work. Writing tickets doesn't prevent bad behavior, at most it punishes it after the fact.
What prevents bad behavior? The idea they might scratch or dent their baby.
"Infrastructure that fucks up cars is good,,, actually" is a hill I will die on.
This is not because I hate cars (I do, but that's not the motivation here), the goal is not specifically to mess up anyone's car.
The goal is to UnFuck Walking & UnFuck Biking
