The themes were decided with the idea of many prompts being placed in a general category that fit all of them, but if anyone wants to make posts with a simpler structure, we made this simplified list down to one/two words!

Rules have also been updated (for over a month, not because of this tweet) to make sure there aren't any depictions too close to his likeness or anyone other minors for that matter.

Any edits (image or video) with scenes of him in the show will also not be accepted/reposted.

This is not true. We used an illustration of Egg that was inspired by the show for a countdown. We deleted it after it was pointed out that it was inappropriate for being based on his likeness, but we did not and have never used actual pictures of Dexter, either here or anywhere.

It didn't even cross my mind until I saw the tweets calling it out. I tried to add on the rules of the event to not do anything related to him, though maybe I'll have to expand on them to make sure.

In general I try not to use anything with the actor's face for ship stuff, not just here but everywhere, but I didn't think it through about how that art was probably too realistic (and based on an actual scene of the show which doesn't help either).

Hey, it's exactly 3 months until the event! I know it's a long way, but I hope it's for the best that there's a lot of time for everyone to work with.

Mostly just a reminder of what the themes are! If anyone posts excerpts/WIPs of stuff they're doing for the event I can RT here.
