@GoodwinMJ Interestingly Matt, neither you or any of your colleagues have condemned the violence that took place last evening. You're incredibly vocal on many of the issues, but not a word about that.
Piers Morgan on talksport asking why everyone hates arsenal before talking over everyone and launching into a rant about how he's got 9 million followers ironically sums up why no one fucking likes arsenal fans
Overall feel very proud of the club as an institution. The work they do with the Women's game and in the community goes unseen by many ignorant fans, even of our own. If nothing else, it's taught me to really enjoy the good moments. And to block the idiots.
Interesting, but enjoyable last 10days. Seeing my team win the League after far too long, meant more than I imagined it would. Losing a Final not so enjoyable, but was still very proud of the players. Met some fun fans of other clubs who're happy to engage and not just abuse..1/2
@jdm2241 Yep, they've appeared to have drafted well, i'll give them that. Still too many holes at corner and linebacker for them to be able to compete consistently i think. But they've promised so much for so long, we'll see how they go.
@jdm2241@Lea_EFC Haha, i'm firmly reserving judgement on them. Probably like our respective football teams, it's the hope that burns right. Mets fan too, and that's not a good place to be so far this season.
@JonSpurling1 Thought we executed the game plan brilliantly. There was no way we could go out there and play an open game, defending and defensive excellence is all part of the game, and that we limited this apparent gift of a team to one penalty goal in 120mins showed how well we played.
@HLTCO I think that's very fair. My first thought after their equaliser was that we're done for because I couldn't see us creating enough clear cut chances. BUT, they weren't that great either. Rare shots on goal, one goal from a penalty, and didn't exactly set the word alight.
