With great sadness we announce that retired Franklin Fire Battalion Chief Gentry Fox passed away today, November 15, 2021. He was 70. Chief Fox retired in 2012 after 38 years with our department. You can learn more about his career here: https://t.co/31GoRZefZB.

It’s that time of year again!! It has been proven that working smoke detectors inside the home save lives, along carbon monoxide detectors. When the time changes this weekend, be sure to test your detectors, and change the batteries!

Through Tri-State Mutual Aid Association, Dunlap Fire has requested Swift Water Rescue assistance. Crews from Dallas Bay Fire Rescue and Soddy Daisy Fire Department are responding to assist with any evacuations or rescues that may be needed
