Hazel, a rescued fox diagnosed with hydrocephalus, has undergone brain surgery in the first operation of its kind in the world. She was fitted with a ventriculoperitoneal shunt (VPS) to drain the build-up of fluid in the brain into the abdomen. https://t.co/U6LlVJHkTM
Reasons I struggle to make mom friends:
My toddler’s most requested bedtime and naptime story is an article about dinosaur fossils from National Geographic.
And by super loud, I mean he just won't move forward and swings away from the mounting block. Like this is how Larry tells me he doesn't like something. So refreshing.
Do I appreciate that Larry is super loud about what saddles he likes and dislikes? Yes.
Do I appreciate that it is not his custom saddle nor an easy to find panel configuration? No.
I love that I need a very specific panel configuration for Larry and any time I find a saddle with, it sells before I can buy it. I'm going to screech.
Today, I debated not wearing an air vest since Larry was so good this weekend.
And in true Larry form, while I stayed on, he reminded why that isn’t a good idea. 💀
@h0neywiine I think it does make certain things hard and changes things, but not impossible. On the bright side, we get double the guilt- horse mom guilt and regular mom guilt.
So listen, every time a certain band I like releases an album, at least one of my pets pass away. Sailor has back pain in the pasture... and they released a new EP. 😰
I love that our daycare refers to the kids/babies as “friends” rather than classmates.
All my toddler interactions I have witnessed are like two feral cats meeting for the first time.
@BluthCoEqLLC @theoverindulged I’m salty because they wouldn’t let me ask about saddle fitters anonymously BECAUSE I WAS TRYING TO GET A POOR FITTING SADDLE REFUNDED AND GATHERING INFORMATION
Things that are “inappropriately normal” really throw people off
“His BP his fine” yeah bro that’s because every vessel in his entire body is exerting maximum effort to move his time of death from “now” to “soon”
