Not found any reference that this is scientifically verified, seems dubious since scarfs don't "heat" anything. They insulate.

@76whit Could you reference the science re:scarf to warm up air. Scarf's don't inherently heat anything up - they help to retain body heat. So where is the evidence that air passing through a scarf is heated?
