Sony’s decision to stop making physical PlayStation games after January 2028 is now being used against the company in a major lawsuit.
The lawsuit, seeking $457 million in damages, argues that Sony can no longer claim players have the option to buy physical copies if they don’t like PlayStation Store prices.
Once new games are no longer released on disc, the PlayStation Store will become the main place to buy new PlayStation games.
Law professor Daniel Wallach told that Sony has “essentially destroyed its own defense,” because the company can no longer point to physical discs as an alternative for consumers.
Watch this imam hold women down and cut their hair for not wearing the hijab.
They still call it a “choice.”
Islam is a curse. It treats women like property and rules them with fear and violence.
Feminists and the left? Silent as usual, they only care when it’s the West.
This doesn’t belong here.
BREAKING 🚨 Sony is mass-banning fans in their own streams for saying “support physical games.”
These greedy, soul-sucking parasites are purging anyone who threatens their plan to turn you into a locked-in, price-gouged digital slave.
You’re not a customer.
You’re not a gamer.
You’re livestock.
A walking wallet to be farmed, milked, and discarded. The second you resist their monopoly scam, they silence you like dogs.
This is Monopoly War! #PhysicalGamesMatter
One of the strangest arguments I've seen lately is: "Show me games that have actually been lost," as if physical collectors just invented this scenario.
There are entire databases dedicated to tracking delisted games across every platform. Start here: https://t.co/yCtN5RKbFJ
This isn't some conspiracy. Publishers remove games from sale all the time. And before someone says, "Yeah, but nobody cared about those games..."
That's completely missing the point. The practice is what's important.
The PS3/Vita storefront, for example, remains one of the last legitimate ways to buy classics like Xenogears, Einhänder, Threads of Fate, Vagrant Story, Parasite Eve, Alundra, and many others without paying retro collector prices. Some have modern ports. Many don't.
"But people who already bought them can still download them!"
Great... that does absolutely nothing for everyone who comes after. If future players can't legally buy a game anymore, then yes, that game has effectively been lost to the marketplace. And can we guarantee we'll still be able to download them indefinitely? No.
Sony already removed hundreds of purchased movies from users' libraries after licensing agreements expired.
So no, this isn't some hypothetical doomsday scenario that physical media fans dreamed up. It's already happening. And it absolutely baffles me that some people want to pretend this isn't a problem.
There was a digital game on PlayStation 4 called "Speakeasy" that was delisted after only a single week on sale. The game was never backed up on pirate sites and never released physically. It's gone forever.
There are likely hundreds of other digital games in similar situations - completely lost.
Valve is getting praise after helping a first-time indie developer instead of rejecting their game at the last minute.
The developer accidentally uploaded a broken build that wouldn’t launch just before the Steam Next Fest deadline.
Instead of rejecting it, a Steam reviewer found the problem, fixed the game’s configuration, and approved the build in time for the event.
Other indie developers also shared that Valve has done the same for their games
🚨🇩🇪In Germany, ads displayed in metro stations show a mother with two young children.
The message on the advertisement reads, “The Future or a climate killer,” implying that our children are destroying the planet.
These people are completely insane.
Christopher Nolan, Emma Thomas and the entire cast and crew of The Odyssey should be ashamed of themselves.
They completely distorted one of the world’s most important stories, and then had the nerve to skip Greece on the world tour like cowards.
All while pretending they’re making some deep, artistic masterpiece.
This isn’t art. This is cultural disrespect with a big budget and zero self-awareness.
They should be embarrassed.

Reports claim Sony believes it doesn’t need to stay in close contact with PlayStation fans because it trusts the strength of the PlayStation brand and the loyalty of its community.
According to the reports, Sony expects players to keep buying its games as the company moves toward a digital-only future.
They also believe the backlash over ending physical PlayStation game production will eventually stop and most players will eventually adapt to buying games digitally.
