Today in math we are dividing by 6 and 7, so why not make it a 6…7 day?!! The students are super excited to read, write, and do some math- all having to to do with 6-7. Let the fun begin! 😊 @WeRStokes
🎃Pumpkin Math 🎃 is always a great time in room 111! The students work in groups to complete math activities using a pumpkin. Measuring, weighing, estimating, skip counting… just to name a few! Getting messy is the best part! @WeRStokes

We had some fun today learning about angles. Students worked with a partner to create right angles, and angles that are smaller & larger than right angles! @WeRStokes
Since it’s National Dot Day, we read the story, The Dot, by Peter Reynolds. The children made their mark by water-painting their very own dot. @WeRStokes
Today we read the book, The Sunflower House, by Eve Bunting and identified details that happened in the beginning, middle, and the end, while creating a flip book. Mrs. Rosen showed the students where sunflower seeds come from by bringing in a real sunflower from her garden. 🌻
Our class was excited to get some good advice from former 3rd graders about how to succeed in 3rd grade! Our students from last year made these posters for our current students. @WeRStokes
