Duran Duran archivist, curating the world's largest collection of DD posters/memorabilia; author of three books on the band; founder of Durandy Productions LLC
It is a daily vigilance and dedication that I'll never be able to express enough gratitude for.
The hunt seems challenging this year as more promotion goes digital or poster pleas go unanswered.
Thank you so very much for all your determination and believing in the Archive.
As the band's tour news heats up and press coverage grows, my appreciation rises as well for all the support across the globe. So many people are maintaining a close eye on the newsstands or following up with venues and promoters on the poster hunt.
It’s never too early to start making plans for the biggest Duranie day of the year... I have an early peek at what the week could look like for upcoming Duran Duran Appreciation Day festivity!
Yes... we will be roller skating to Duran Duran music this year.
For those who never had a good Mom, who have strived to be one under exceedingly difficult circumstances, or who have lost their children, you are invaluable. I am keeping you firmly in my warmest thoughts.
Thank you for creating so much love, light, and beauty.
There's a relentless need for good Moms, and that doesn't necessarily mean dramatic examples of inspiring achievement; it could simply be filling a child's days with compassion, understanding, comfort, or hugs.
One day set aside to honor Mothers always feels like it's not enough.
I count so many amazing Moms among my dearest friends, preparing their children for brilliant futures as strong, brave, kind human beings.
@JonathanDean_ Dear Mr. Dean, I am curious if your Times story about Duran Duran made the print edition, and if so, how I could acquire a copy? Any help would be very appreciated! Thank you! Andrew, DD archivist
A recent visit brought a Dur-avalanche of smiles to the Archive! Lynda is a loyal lifetime Duranie (total John girl!) and her sweet husband Carl is an extraordinary Duranie ally, supporting his wife with an unflinching tenderness that gave my heart goose bumps.
This Saturday it's here again - a new Duran-dezvous in the Den! There's so much news that invites your views, and a chance to show off your most beautiful hues! So mark your calendar and set up the room, we'll reunite and be Free to Zoom...
Finally sat down to design a little commemoration of a very special Archive visit last year. Paul and Deone Monson dropped by with their friend Erin, and the experience was filled with warmth, delight, and many memories for which I am deeply grateful.
