We had a good exchange of information during our first COVID-19 Durham Region Sport Community Roundtable session. We talked about four key challenges identified in our survey – finances, registrations, contracts and permits, and safe return to play. #DurhamStrong
Hosting the Durham Region 2019 Ontario Parasport Games resulted in a boost to our local economy of $678,000, with another $111,900 netted for the Games Legacy Fund. The annual Ontario Lacrosse Festival has an economic impact of almost $5.5 million. #TourismWeek#TourismMatters
