Today, James and K-6th Grade Athletes at Victor gathered to participate in the Special Olympics. It was an incredible event, and one I am proud to have James be a part of each year. As Eunice Kennedy Shriver said,”Let me win, but if I cannot win, let me be brave in the attempt”.
April is Autism Awareness and Acceptance Month. During this month, people join together to increase the understanding and acceptance of Autism Spectrum Disorder. Since being diagnosed, James has been and will always be my reason to never stop learning or advocating.

“I don’t think you realize how special this is — the time that Ryan gave Hank on his last day in St. Louis. It will follow him forever.”
