Stojí za povšimnutie, že po stretnutí v Moskve Fico a Putin nevydali spoločné vyhlásenia ani neodpovedali na otázky novinárov. Skrátka nemôžu verejne povedať nič o tom, o čom na stretnutí diskutovali. Obávajú sa reakcie verejnosti.

Moskva poskytuje Ficovi výrazné zľavy, no platí ich Slovensko. Takéto zľavy nie sú zadarmo – platby do Ruska sa uskutočňujú prostredníctvom suverenity alebo nejasných schém. To by malo byť predmetom záujmu slovenských orgánov činných v trestnom konaní a špeciálnych služieb.

Podrobnosti o takomto financovaní boli odhalené počas nedávneho stretnutia európskych lídrov v Bruseli. Lídri si všimli, že pán Fico nechce participovať na spoločnej európskej práci na energetickej nezávislosti ani hľadať náhradu za ruský plyn. Naopak, chce pomôcť Rusku vytlačiť americký plyn a energetické zdroje iných partnerov z Európy, čo naznačuje, že chce pomôcť Putinovi zarobiť peniaze na financovanie vojny a oslabiť Európu.

V dôsledku vojny, ktorú Putin začal, strácame ľudí a veríme, že takáto pomoc Putinovi je amorálna.

Pán Fico dokonca odmietol kompenzácie na zmiernenie dôsledkov prechodného obdobia a zbavenie sa závislosti, čo znamená, že to pre neho nie je otázka bezpečnosti. Zaujíma sa konkrétne o ruský plyn a jeho hodnota predstavuje 500 miliónov dolárov ročne. Ďalšie zisky pochádzajú z ropovodu, ktorý prechádza cez ukrajinské územie, a prináša ďalších 500 miliónov dolárov ročne, čo pomáha pánovi Ficovi.

Preto je jeho kľúčovým cieľom jednať s Ruskom, čo mu prináša osobné výhody. Toto je skutočne veľký bezpečnostný problém – pre Slovensko aj celú Európu. Prečo je tento líder taký závislý od Moskvy? Čo sa mu za to platí a čím sa platí?

We’ve seen some confusion and speculation about it. Seems to be a lot of guess work out there. Can’t say too much at this stage but to be clear, nothing has been artificially or synthetically created. It’s all real and we all play on it. We cleaned up some existing recordings - a process which has gone on for years.
