All thanks to our very talented sister @Meyiwa_Sharon
Reach Out 1.0 in OMADINO was nothing short of a miracle, and my heart is overwhelmed with gratitude and joy! Despite all the challenges, we pushed through, and it was worth every effort.
First and foremost, all glory goes to God. His grace, blessings, and favor guided every step of this journey. And to YOU—each person who donated, sponsored, partnered, or supported in any way—you are the real heroes of this story. You saw the vision and believed in it with me. Words will never be enough to express how much your kindness means.
For the very first time in this community, the children experienced a day filled with joy, care, and so much love. Many of these kids had never felt this kind of attention or celebration before. Seeing their smiles, their excitement, and their little faces light up—it was so emotional and heartwarming. It reminded me why we do this.
Your generosity didn’t just create a day of happiness; it gave these children hope. Hope that they are seen, that they matter, and that someone cares. You made history with us, and I am forever grateful for that.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you for being a part of this beautiful story. God bless you all abundantly. Let’s keep spreading love, compassion, and happiness—together, we can keep changing lives!
I'm reluctant to criticize our chiefs, but I'm compelled to speak out. What is wrong with this council? Four interviews featuring Ijaws and Urhobos spreading misinformation have gone unchallenged, while only Chief Rita Lori has dared to respond.
She has tirelessly fought for the Itsekiri people for over 24 years, and despite her age and fatigue, she's still standing up for us. Her dedication and courage are admirable, and we appreciate her efforts.
It's alarming that out of 74 chiefs, only Mama Rita has shown the courage to speak out. This council's inaction is making us appear weak. We need our leaders to stand up for our rights and interests, not remain silent in the face of misinformation and aggression.
I hope the council will take a cue from Mama Rita's example and start addressing these issues head-on. The itsekiri nation deserves better, and we need our leaders to step up and lead.
