My first reaction to this was wow freedom. Like Unite has the opportunity to grow and run on its own schedule best suit for a moba. The game isn’t dead we just have to wait for more information. This could be one of the best things that has happened to unite only time will tell.

I know there's a lot of doom posting going on but this decision feels a bit strange to me. It feels more like Unite wanting to step away from WCS and its restrictions rather than Unite getting dropped itself. But that still feels like a massive gamble unless they have something planned out.

After competing in Japan this year and attending both of the Japan offline events, I can still confidently say that the esports aspect of the game is still massive in Asia. There's just not enough information after a bombshell got dropped on us, there's just too many questions without any answers😭

Either way it's gonna be sad not being able to go to the IC's or WCS anymore, that social aspect of competing is what makes it worth it in my opinion. WCS started with my team winning so I'll make sure it ends with us lifting the last trophy

now is the perfect time for people to join back pokemon unite ngl, you get too much for free with licenses, holowears and license points and game itself is in a very good spot with balance and fun to play. ik it doesnt have the greatest rep from before but definitely give a try

First season getting both of my accounts to legend. Really proud of my winrate on my smurf (68.9%) to legends in 86 games. Mainly played lapras and zeraora. This season was very fun, loved getting to duo/trio with so many people.

I’ve been having a lot of fun using pings as actual communication and trying my best to formulate some sort of helpful comms through in game pings. A lot of keep the pressure on pings to keep the team motivated, pinging farm spawns, goals to push/defend or any of my cooldowns.

@michmalllow It’s like in unite if you don’t main absol you get all the crit and luck on ur side and if you do well good luck. I once almost lost a game through 3 flinches and a dodge of my own rock slide.

@michmalllow I don’t think i’ll every fully understand tcg. I been a vcg fan forever tho. It’s the biggest curve tho. I over analyze everything and my opponent just makes the play that loses them the game 99% of the time but I overthink and I lose.

Always love any sort of in person unite events. Hanging out with friends/meeting new ones is always amazing. Plus eating local food is just great.
