It was lovely to have Norwich City footballer Freya Symonds in school today to talk about her journey to become a successful footballer. We are also delighted that Freya will be back in Summer Term 2 to deliver some lunchtime girls football sessions.@NorwichCityFSC
Well done to the children who took part in Young Voices yesterday. You were all amazing and were great ambassadors for our school. Thank you to all the adults who helped the day run so smoothly and to the parents who came to watch. Lifelong memories made.
Our librarians had a great time at Bookbugs and Dragon Tales bookshop yesterday. They chose some fantastic books for the library for all year groups. Thank you to @Bookbugsdragon1 for organising such a lovely afternoon for our children.
Lovely to see our children engaging with the local community this week. Pupils have been making care boxes for the residents of Mary Chapman Court and Year 2 visited the church at River Green in Thorpe.
A huge thank you to our kitchen team who did an amazing job today cooking the children's Christmas lunch. Thank you also to the staff who helped to serve the 270 lunches today.
Well done to our super sisters who ran their first 2K Park Run over the weekend, both running under 12 minutes. Well done, we are really proud of you both!
Lovely to see our school join in with Positive Noticing Day today. The children were asked to write a positive message to another child to say what they had noticed. Some children donated their messages for the Positive Tree.@pauldixtweets#PND2023
What a busy Monday that was! Odd socks Day,football matches for some of our Year 5/6 children and a fantastic Castles Day for our Year 2 children. We also had a large group of children who attended the Cross Country Trials at the UEA. Well done to all the children who took part.

Thank you to Years 1, 2,3 and 4 parents/carers who attended our Macmillan Tea Parties on Tuesday and Wednesday. It was lovely to have our families in school. Thursday is our last tea party for Year 5 and 6. All cake donations greatly received!
The children have taken part in many activities this week focused on health as part of Healthy Week. This has included Bikeability for Y5, yoga for all year groups and a Wellbeing Fair run by our Year 6 children. All classes learnt about the "NHS 5 Ways to Wellbeing" too.
