@geola388@RunYourRaceTL There are hoopers and there are ball players. I think Perry was too much hooper. Same reason Mike Beasley is widely considered the best 1v1 player of his era but never greatly contributed to winning basketball.
@NekiasNBA Let me spare you:
A. TRAVEL
B. In what world was that a 29?! We’ve lowered the bar with this one.
C. We should raise the rims to at least regulation, if not higher.
D. The spinny dress move was easily the best of the comp. I think we under value taller dunkers sometimes
@HPbasketball@JonesOnTheNBA I feel like he kind of ruined Chet’s jumper. He used to shoot hesi pull ups and now it’s a slow loading form shot. No juice
@geola388 If he did it for a whole season I would get it. He did for like a 2 week span tops. Cason Wallace is not a 1 or even 2 option in my opinion. Hes a very good defender and is streaky on offense. If we’re comparing to Brunson, Mitchell is closer of a comparison. Caso is Bridges 🤷🏻♂️
@AndrewKSchlecht@HPbasketball You can’t say it’s only a business move imo. It all comes back to basketball. If he was vitally important the team would pay up. As it stands, McCain and Caso were played over Dort in the playoffs. Caso and McCain should get better, Dort declined. Worth over $100m in taxes?
@RajChipalu Agreed. But Dort leaving was always happening due to the 2nd apron. A bad GM probably declines the option to be safe. Presti gambled, picked it up, and got assets back while sending Lu to a place with friends (NAW and Wiggs)
@SarksDaddy I think you’re still living in the old days. Dort/Joe absolutely would have been worth that a decade ago. No team wants to take on cap eating contracts AND give away firsts. Frps are so valuable now to have high quality players on manageable contracts with bird rights.
