Most players get this wrong.

JUCO eliminates wannabes. You either grow or you get passed up.

Here’s the reality:
• Coaches recruit: Portal → JUCO → High School
• You get real reps (400+ ABs, 100+ innings)
• You become tougher, more accountable, more reliable
• Your value goes UP after being tested

I’ve coached D1 and played pro… JUCO is where separation happens...on and off the field.

Something I've always despised about youth, high school, travel sports and even college athletics is politics to play.
It sucks, it's dirty, it's cheap and it destroys kids.
A parent's money or standing in the community should never factor into a kid getting playing time he hasn't earned.
Players know who has earned it and who hasn't.

If it doesn’t hit a players glove, it’s not an error.

If an outfielder totally zoo’s a ball, the scorer should rule it an error.

If a pop fly in the infield lands in the middle of three infielders, the scorer should rule it an error.

Coaching 3rd in college there would occasionally be places on the road where there would be some heckling going on from the stands .. well trading that in for HS has come with a wild trend and one I’m shocked at .. I’m seeing around half the HS dugouts are full of
