@JonFraserTF I’m a truck driver too, mainly heavy haul and the amount of stupid shit that I’ve seen Indians do on the AB/SK highways is incredible. They have no respect for anyone, be it traffic or pedestrians and I try to avoid certain truck stops that are known to frequent.
@scaverhoff@scaverhoff I bought one last year after my 48 year old Maytag decided to give up on the day of my surgery. Happy with it so far! It’s built nice and heavy, just not ideal to move when you’re wearing a walking boot!
@catturd2@catturd2 I drove 13 states back in February and felt welcome in every one. The worst part of the trip was the Canadian border guard on the way back. Definitely looking forward to my next road trip in the states!
@nationalpost In February I drove through 13 states with my pickup truck that has Alberta plates on it and the people in the US were way nicer to me than a lot of Canadians are. Sounds like your poll is full of shit.
@govt_corrupt Guess they’re experiencing first hand what happens when Canadian jobs are outsourced to Indians, let alone ones who are labelled as terrorists in other countries.
@Martyupnorth_2 My understanding is that the pilot truck told the guy to stop, and then left to go somewhere else. I do heavy haul and a bit of pilot truck driving myself and in my experience, when you stop people do not leave them alone. They WILL keep going every time.
@DirtOnMyBoots@mwmarchant@dvanklomp I always wonder that too. Ducks Unlimited keeps showing up to land sales here in Alberta. Nobody has a big enough backbone to not sell to them.
Drove through both Montana and Alberta today. Yesterday a snowstorm went through, 6-8” in places. Left Billings today and the entire drive to the border was smooth as the roads were clean. In Alberta they still had loose snow on them and were full of sand. Our plow drivers suck.
@CanadianModera1 Mess and chaos? It’s been anything but that! I’ve been visiting the states for a while now and in all 14 states I’ve been to on this road trip, people are super happy, friendly, and when I say I’m a Canadian, they all tell me how much they hate Trudeau.
@ThatEricAlper My 1971 John Deere 4320. No heater, air conditioning, or radio. Just a basic 2wd tractor that works like it should without costing a bunch of money in repairs.
