Well, with the news that this hell site will be deleting accounts inactive for more than 30 days

this will probably be the formal end of my presence on twitter

if anybody does still care i can still be rarely found on my equally inactive insta (dustyvf) or fedi (link in bio)

(i do also have an actually active fedi but i don't want to post that one publicly)

I've forgotten just how short twitters message limit was

And twitters webapp has gotten a lot laggier over the past 2 years i see (using old low end devices really reveals the ones that are bloaty and inefficient :] )

Wow it's been a long time since I last logged into twitter

I still exist, I've just been hiding in the shadows outside of public social media (it's kinda peaceful staying in the background tbh)

I've considered becoming active publicly again occasionally

but at the same time it's peaceful outside of the storm of the public
(Tbh I'm not sure I'd even consider it a bad thing that I've not involved myself on twitter or reddit for the past 2 years)

and the notifications right now are basically useless for me, as twitter spams it with stuff like "x posted this" or "x liked this post" and seemingly has no way to disable those types of notification

which can easily drown out the few real notifications i get

is it just me or is the new twitter still kinda broken?

the text input just breaks entirely and sometimes even crashes if i try to paste anything into it
(which was an issue i had even prior to my hiatus when the new layout was new)

Needs some refinement still but I think i prefer the way I drew this over my old strategy of using too many blending layers
