My book is a guide for discipleship, learning how to follow the way of Jesus through the practices of reading scripture, knowing the doctrines of the Nicene Creed, praying the Lords Prayer and Living out the Decalogue. Due out May 12th!
The seven volume series I think should be a requirement for every preacher so they could see that there’s really no set standard for how one is to preach and how the word of God has been taught differently stylistically over the last 2000 years and yet it’s all the preaching of the scriptures
If you're looking to pre-order the full-year prayer book I've been working on — "The Lord is My Light: A Liturgy for Daily Prayer" — this is a good week to do so at Barnes and Noble.
Every pre-order is 25% off for members until Friday.

@CredoMagazine@loumarkos I was there at the conference, loved his message. Shout out to the camera man who had to keep up with his wild card style of teaching 😂
@Protestia Clement of Rome: “You have searched the Scriptures, which are true, which were given by the Holy Spirit; you know that nothing unrighteous or counterfeit is written in them.”
Thanks! I just published a book and that’s like the theory and I’m hoping the guide will be the practice. My hardest thing has been trying to figure out the framework for the guide, going back and forth if I should structure it around the church calendar or more catechetical ideas from the church fathers. That’s why I’m also excited for your book to see how you structured it around 396 entries!! It would be so much easier to write devotional guides if we went to a 13 month calendar, 28 days each month, and the church officially just said “Easter is always April 5th” lol
@TrevinWax Awesome! Excited, I’ve been working on something that my church does with small groups on a daily basis and would love to explore yours for use in our church and ideas
“Error is never set forth in its naked deformity, lest, being thus exposed, it should immediately be detected for what it is. It is craftily decked out in attractive dress, so that, by its outward form, it might appear to the inexperienced—ridiculous as the expression may seem—truer than truth itself. . . . What inexperienced person can readily detect the presence of brass when it has been mixed with silver? . . . The language of these deceivers resembles ours, but what they mean with it is very different.”
(Irenaeus)
