That’s one of the most FUN regular season Broncos wins in a long time. Shades of the Giants last year.
Bo Nix had a huge second half, Talanoa Hufanga was a beast and they erased 16-0 and 26-23 deficits.
This team can win the Super Bowl.
A rare pause from posting as if it were 20 years ago.
The Sports World lost a legend yesterday with the passing of Barry Melrose. He always seemed like a great guy on Tv and seeing stories from everyone who knew him that seems like an understatement.
My condolences to his family and friends and I hope I can share some fun memories of Barry over the next few months as the hockey season gets going.
Most people over 40 are training for the wrong future.
They’re training to look fit. Nothing wrong with that … but my decades in the office have taught me important lessons here.
I’d rather train to remain capable.
Your fitness should expand your life, not become your life.
Simply massive news. The day the Monfort family no longer owns the Rockies is a great day in Colorado.
And with Greg and Carrie in charge? It’ll be Rocktober every year.
ESPN has fallen off so hard that this discussion between Tony Kornheiser & Mike Wilbon feels like a breath of fresh air compared to everything else airing on the network
ESPN needs to pay these two whatever it takes to keep them around the rest of their lives, much less careers. PTI remains the standard and stands out like a sore thumb (in the best way) on that network currently.

Coaching my son's U-10 team. They love scrimmaging of course, but I'll describe the other drill they really love. I don't have a name for it...
Split the kids up into two teams
Each kid on each team has a number (1, 2, 3, etc.)
So you have two 1s, two 2s, etc.
Teams stand behind a mini goal on opposite ends of the field
I roll a ball out into the middle of the field and call out some combination of player numbers
If a player hears their number called, they have to run out to play
Sometimes I call one number, sometimes two, sometimes three (so it's 1v1, 2v2, 3v3, etc.)
They then have to either attack or defend
Play continues until someone scores or the ball goes out
Whistle blows and next numbers are called
I move it along quickly so if players are sleeping, they get caught
I encourage staying tuned in, a fast pace, finding the space, putting in strong challenges and attacking the goal
I'll play 15-20 quick fire rounds and keep score
It's a fun one
I don’t know if this is it for Messi, but he has entered a realm that warrants a discussion not just as the greatest footballer in the history of the sport, but also as the greatest athlete in the history of sports.
He was and is that good. #Messi
Andy Kessler: “38% of Stanford undergrads registered as disabled and are eligible for extra time to take tests. The national median is 5.3%. How is that not flopping?”

Argentina got another big break with Switzerland down to 10 men . It will fuel silly conspiracy theories that the World Cup is loaded Argentina’s way. Not so. Embolo did try to con the ref into booking Parades, and as he’d already got a yellow , ref right to send him off.
