The children enjoyed learning about the preparations, special clothing, food, diva lamps & fireworks which are all part of the Diwali celebrations.
The children made Rangoli patterns using stencils & paint.

Today Sheena came into talk to the children about Diwali.
She dressed Miss Beresford up in a beautiful sahri and shared bangles with the children.
Sheena showed us how to make Rangoli patterns using stencils and flour on the ground - the children loved this!

We'll complete as many of the challenges as we can at school and we'll set a challenge each to complete at home. Week 1 is 'Shower Power' - take a bath instead of a shower (no longer than 4 minutes!). This saves up 44 litres of water each time. Can you do this 4 times a week?
