DustyGrooveFilm

Dusty Groove: The Sound of Transition is a collection of intimate narratives, akin to a record album of songs. About love, loss, & our deep connection to music.

This is unexpected, very sad news. I listen to Action Jackson's @wwoz_neworleans show in Chicago, Doha, from wherever I am. So many many memories of his indelible voice, and his fantastic music choices.

[WWOZ 90.7 FM @wwoz_neworleans]

WWOZ's Action Jackson has died at the age of 59 after a battle with cancer. He was a beloved producer/show host on Takin' It To The Streets and the Thursday afternoon blues show, and a well-respected member of New Orleans' cultural communities. https://t.co/k7liTWEhTW.
