@Noirchick1 Crawford seems to have badly wanted to make it as a dancer and several of her early films have dancing-related titles. Unfortunately, she was never convincing as a dancer - she lacked grace and coordination, and people tend to laugh now.
@DrewHutton45645 I first heard the word used by the Kylie Mole character in The Comedy Company. I had no idea what it meant and I don’t think it was widely used at the time.
@AlexTran677026 Leslie Halliwell made a good observation - while ambition and over-length work against it, scene-for-scene it’s actually very strong, with many of the comedians involved in top form.
@Andr3jH Jokes aside, they actually encouraged him to pursue architectural illustration. But he couldn’t get into the course because he didn’t have the required high school diploma.
