@BobbyMilone29 I totally agree with you. Dump Volpe to minors or trade him if possible. You have a good SS with Cabby. McMahon & Rosario are OK at 3B. Wells is abysmal. Get Logan O'Hoppe from the last place Angels. Just about anyone would be an improvement over Wells.

@YankeesFanEarl @BobbyMilone29 Catcher with Wells is the blackest of "black holes" in the lineup. I don't expect HOF Bench or Berra. But I'd take Logan O'Hoppe from the Angels. Someone who can once in a while get the bat on the ball.

@yankeesondeck_ An excellent defender at 4 different positions. Every at bat he battles. Has a great approach with 2 strikes on him. Truly a 5 tool player which is pretty rare in MLB today.

@AndyOstroy Given what the price of the tickets is for Game 3, I suspect the crowd will be overwhelmingly high income and thus not representative of the real NYC Metro area. If he gets overwhelmingly booed by this crowd of well-to-do people it will be a very bad thing for him.

@RAMBO25nt I am not among the "Boone Bashers" but I am with the large majority of Yankee fans who believe Volpe does not belong on the roster, much less starting at SS when you have a better player (Cabby) on the team. Not sure why Cashman & Boone don't see it.

@BobbyMilone29 3 Full Seasons plus some 2026. Cashman and Boone have to know exactly what kind of player he is. Sometimes (like catcher) you don't have an alternative. But they have Caballero who is a much better defender and hitter. Volpe should be sent down if they want to best chance to win.
