Held them since launch
Haven't checked on them, kind of since shortly after that
Should i check them, and the rewards, out?
Or better wait till bull returns? ๐
@stridentcitizen@RichardHeartWin It's still (freedom of) speech
Highly disagree with those points of view, but they're allowed to have their (imo ret*rded) opinion

A very brief update on this;
After many hours basically wasted, trying to force gun and melee logic together, it looks like a few steps back are required to build one or the other from the ground up.
That takes some time, which I have, but skill I do not. There's a dev that does have the skill to solve the challenge working on it, for himself but I'll get to piggy back on his work, so likely the smartest thing is to wait for him to finish his work.
In the meantime, I think there's zero downside to working on individual game assets, like characters, weapons and environmental mesh.
The AI I had built to help on the project also just failed and wasted way too much of my time, so a secondary priority is looking for a better solution on that front. I don't really need that much help these days, so I might just use a basic LM Studios model or something really basic.
Anyways, just a brief update as I said, for those that might have noticed a quiet period from me.
Am I still putting as many hours into this as I was a month ago? No - I just have to face facts that I have a blocker that is either going to be too expensive or technical for me to fix alone. I'm keeping a close eye on several other developers that are open source working on things that will help this project out, so I'm taking what I think are the most efficient steps to get through the challenge.
