It was about time I spoke publicly about this, if only for my own peace of mind.

Some of you may have already heard about the situation surrounding a new game that is very similar to Mining Inc Remastered.

I want to be clear: anyone is free to make the game they want.

Competition has always been part of game development, and that's not what bothers me.

What makes this so difficult is that one of the developers behind it, Evanbear1, previously did analytical and development work for Mining INC Remastered and, because of that, had full developer access to the game.

Evan has stated that nothing from Mining INC was used, but that's difficult for me to verify given the similarities I've observed.

The games share a number of similar features, and two of our vehicles that were created specifically for the remaster not part of Widgeon's open source version also appear in very similar form.

From my perspective, it's hard not to conclude that Mining INC Remastered was a major source of inspiration.

More than anything, this has been painful on a personal level.

When you trust someone with unrestricted access to years of your work, it's hard not to feel hurt when they later release something that feels so closely connected to it.

I'm sharing this now not to invite hate, but so people understand why this has been so painful for me.

To everyone who has reached out with kind words and support: thank you. It genuinely means more than you know.

I guess I learned a difficult lesson through all of this: just because you've known someone for years and trusted them with something important doesn't always mean they'll value that trust in the same way.

so @Roblox introduced this managed pricing, feature which automatically adjusts pricing
when i turned it off i noticed that Mining inc's revenue went up by allot! yet Lumber inc's revenue stayed the same although it went up.
does anyone else have a similar trend?
i feel like this new feature does more harm than good.

i've decided to recode the lumber INC tree generation.
sofar i got biomeblending to work, Increasing/decreasing tree worth in a specific region and generation points in a specific region.
