Today, my wife & I joined Donald Trump’s hit list. He has directed his Department of Justice to investigate us. They have not found a crime - they are simply trying to find one.
He isn't coming after me because of mean tweets, but because I am considering running for President.
He hates that I consistently call him out. He is simply the most corrupt President in American history.
We have nothing to hide.
Mr. President, come after me. I am not going anywhere.
The country is watching.
Infelizmente ele escolheu a pessoa errada….
De Niro: I hate to say it, but loving our country is starting to sound like an abused spouse saying they love their abuser.
I can’t love a country that starts stupid and inhumane wars, killing thousands of innocents and indirectly causing the deaths and suffering of millions more.
I can’t love a country that takes healthcare away from millions of people and uses that money to enrich their pals in the Trump-Epstein class.
I can’t love a country that sends out masked militias to shoot citizens in the streets, torture our neighbors, and separate families.
I can’t love a country that’s led by a racist, misogynist, xenophobic tyrant.
And let me just say it: I can’t love a country that’s led by Donald Trump and his sycophant Congress.
@KerryLynneFindl ‘Governments don’t create wealth’ tell that to every BC family whose kid attends a publicly funded school, drives on a publicly funded highway, or gets care at a publicly funded hospital. You’re recycling 1990s talking points dressed up as a vision.A Leger poll bump isn’t a plan
@AndrewScheer This is the Conservative playbook: take real government documents, strip all context, add caps lock and outrage. Alto’s work is real, it’s ongoing, and it’s legally required before a single kilometre of track can be built. Don’t let the theatrics fool you.
@AndrewScheer Andrew Scheer is outraged that Alto paid bonuses before laying track. But Alto is a planning Crown corp. Their entire job right now is engineering studies, environmental assessments, Indigenous consultations & land acquisition. That’s not “meetings”, that’s the law.
@AndrewScheer The $2.75M in bonuses went to 18 executives managing one of the largest infrastructure projects in Cdn history, a 1,000 km high-speed rail network. That’s a legitimate debate. But Scheer isn’t having that debate. He’s just yelling “UNBELIEVABLE!!!” & hoping you won’t look closer.
@AndrewScheer Construction on the HSR isn’t even scheduled to begin until 2029-30. Criticizing a development agency for not building things 3 years before shovels are supposed to hit the ground isn’t accountability, it’s deliberate bad-faith framing.contd
@AndrewScheer Oxford Econo, CIBC, Deloitte, and RBC all predicted this recession caused by Trump tariffs. Not Carney. Carney has been PM for a year. The U.S. export dependency that made us this vulnerable? That’s decades of Cons neglect. Not all economists are calling this a formal recession.
@Roman_Baber@MarkJCarney Hot take, Roman: when the US tariffs every ally, maybe the recession isn’t about your trade deal. Germany just ended two down quarters. Japan nearly didn’t. Canada has the lowest US tariff rate of any major partner. It’s called a trade war — not a trade deal failure.
@JasminLaine_@reneritchie@mgeist C-11 requires streaming platforms to fund Canadian content. That’s it. The sky-is-falling framing has been debunked repeatedly, including by the CRTC itself. Tagging Geist doesn’t make bad-faith panic into media criticism.
@AndrewScheer Hey Andrew, the Tutors are 60-year-old planes. Even Harper’s Conservatives couldn’t be bothered to replace them in their 10 years in power.
Maybe lead with that next time before screaming “inexcusable.”
The incompetence here spans decades and parties. You were one of them.
@Roman_Baber@MarkJCarney Carney attribution is a stretch. The industrial carbon pricing trajectory was set under Trudeau/Guilbeault. Carney inherited it and has signalled continuity, but pinning the entire policy architecture on him is politically convenient rather than accurate.
@Roman_Baber@MarkJCarney It’s not the consumer tax. The consumer carbon tax has been paused at $0. This is the industrial pricing system, which applies to large emitters, not household energy https://t.co/DdNYtyr2qy are conflating the two to maximize emotional impact.
@Roman_Baber@MarkJCarney The “impoverish Canadians” claim doesn’t hold up for the industrial tax. Research shows industrial carbon pricing has essentially zero impact on household consumption in 2025, with projections it will reduce consumption by only a tenth of one percent by 2030.
