Join us for the 1st annual Dutch Translational Metabolism Conference: POSTPONED. Bridging the gap between research and medicine in metabolism. #DTMC2020
We regret to inform that the 1st Dutch Translational Metabolism Conference will be postponed. We feel that the recent COVID19-related changes in traveling policies for speakers and participants pose a major challenge to our goal; to bring together and facilitate interaction.

Maaike Oosterveer introduces to you the connecting value of our conference. Experts from the field and junior scientists will share their most recent research findings. We are looking forward to welcome you all and to spark new collaborations! #DTMC2020#conference#metabolism
The Dutch Translational Metabolism Conference is coming up soon. We're looking forward to welcoming all attendees. We would also like to thank the sponsors, and @ZonMw for supporting this event by granting us the 'netwerksubsidie' in the Translational Research program. #DTMC2020
Prof. Dr. Marc Hellerstein (@TheDoctorMarc) from @UCBerkeley will present on ‘Measuring Molecular Flux Rates in Humans through Pathways that Drive Disease: Recent Advances and Applications in Clinical Medicine and Drug Development’ in the 5th session our conference. #DTMC2020
Why you should apply before this Friday (Feb 14) for our Dutch Translational Metabolism Conference? @SchrauwenP introduces to you our aim and program of the conference. We are looking forward to welcome you all on March 10-11 in Lunteren!🌍 #DTMC2020#conference#metabolism

Dr. Pam Taub is associate professor @UCSDHealth and keynote speaker of the 4th session. Dr. Taub investigates the effect of behavioral interventions on #cardiometabolism and she will be presenting on ‘Impact of time-restricted eating on cardiometabolic disease’. #DTMC2020
The DTMC organizing committee was overwhelmed by the >150 abstracts send by all the researchers in #translationalmetabolism in NL. From the highest scoring abstracts 12 were selected for a talk in 1 of our 5 sessions. Selected speakers will receive an email by Feb 7th. #DTMC2020
Prof. Dr. Antonio Moschetta is professor in Internal Medicine @unibait and keynote speaker in session 3. His research focuses on the relationship between nutrients and disorders related to the gut–liver axis, with a focus on cholestasis, and hepatic & colon cancer. #DTMC2020
Ronald Wanders, Professor Emeritus @UvA_Amsterdam, will initiate our Honorary Lecture series. In this event we honor scientists who embody the true spirit of translational metabolic research. Wanders previously headed the Lab of Genetic Metabolic Diseases @amsterdamumc. #DTMC2020
Prof. Dr. Johan Auwerx, keynote speaker in the 2nd session, will present on ‘Systems genetics approaches to explore mitochondria and aging’. Auwerx heads the @Auwerx_Lab at the @EPFL_en and researches the link between transcription, mitochondria, #metabolism, and aging. #DTMC2020
Prof. Dr. Stephan Herzig, keynote speaker in the very 1st session of our #conference, will be presenting on ‘Tissue communication in metabolic control’. Herzig is director of the @helmholtz_diabc and heads the Institute for Diabetes and Cancer in Munich. #DTMC2020
