Kasparov: Russia losing this war won't look like 1945 with flags over Berlin. It will look like 1918.
Germany surrendered with its own troops still inside France and Belgium, the state simply ran out of ability to fight. For Russia, that moment is a flag over Sevastopol. 1/
🚨 “We could not believe Iran itself was not insisting on its 50% share (of the Caspian Sea).”
Rajab Safarov, a member of Russia’s delegation in the Caspian Sea negotiations, said the Russian side was shocked that the Islamic Republic did not insist on Iran’s 50% share.
Even the Russians expected Iran to fight for its interests. Instead, the Islamic Republic gave away Iran’s territorial claims and rights with astonishing ease.
The regime fights relentlessly for its ideology and proxies abroad, but when it comes to Iran’s own national interests, that determination disappears.

In the middle of the war Islamic regime provoked with US and Israel, while the Iranian people are crushed under economic collapse and misery, the government suddenly sends an ”urgent” bill to parliament.
What could possibly be so urgent right now?
Selling off Iran’s remaining rights in the Caspian Sea to its Russian and British masters (through Azerbaijan). Probably hoping that these same masters will throw the regime a lifeline so it can keep fighting the United States a little longer.
Something most non-Iranians don’t understand: for centuries, control over Iran was the prize in the colonial rivalry between Soviet Russia and Britain. After the Pahlavi era, a strong, independent government that actually had an alliance with America, not a colonial master-servant relationship, the Shah was brought down.
Soviet propaganda and Islamist-Marxists on one side, British propaganda in Iraq and the West on the other. What they installed was a fiercely anti-American regime. And from day one the looting began: Britain directly through the banking system and indirectly by letting Arab states drain Iran’s shared resources.
For 47 years these powers gave the blood-soaked Iranian regime diplomatic cover and financial lifelines while closing their eyes to its massacres and terrorism, because a hostile Iran kept US and Israel bogged down in the region too.
Now with Trump back in office, everyone knows he came to smash this dirty order. So the masters are rushing to finish the last major plunder before their puppet regime collapses.
The Caspian Legal Status Convention was signed in 2018 under Mullah President Rouhani, right after Trump left the JCPOA. Rouhani, by the way, is the cleric who lived in London before the 1979 Islamic revolution ( interesting, right?). In that convention Iran’s share was effectively handed over to Russia and Baku. Azerbaijan is crucial because Britain, through Baku, gets direct control of Caspian gas without needing Russia or Iran.
The deal was left dormant for years. To become binding it still needs parliamentary ratification in each country. That’s why the masters are now forcing it through the regime’s parliament in a hurry, before their client regime falls.
Most non-Iranians still think the mullahs are just crazy religious fanatics. They’re not. The ideology is only the public mask for money and power. Each cartel inside the regime protects the interests of different foreign masters. The “reformist” cartel (Rouhani and now Pezeshkian) serves London. The Ghalibaf cartel serves Putin.
Take Alireza Akbari, the former deputy defense minister and senior security official. He was executed in 2023 after being exposed as a long-time MI6 spy. Russia was the one that burned him and handed the information to the regime.
One of London’s high-level assets inside the system got sacrificed when the other master decided it was useful.
Khamenei’s real job was managing the competition between these cartels so none of them became too dominant. Now that he’s gone, the gloves are off and they’re openly fighting each other for the top seat.
President Trump isn’t really negotiating with the regime. He’s negotiating with Putin, London, the Arabs and China to make them abandon Iran. The moment those lifelines are cut, this corrupt system will collapse.
For a free Iran and return of Pahlavi.

Landfill is becoming the default graveyard for the fading renewable-energy green dream.
Millions of solar panels are already hitting their end-of-life cycle, and the world is completely unprepared for the toxic avalanche due in 2030. By 2050, the International Renewable Energy Agency says it will get much worse, with more than 200 million tonnes of cumulative solar panel waste globally. Plus, there will be additional tens of millions of tonnes of decommissioned wind turbine components. Turbine blades are virtually indestructible.
The industry has claimed solar panels and turbines were ‘95% recyclable’. Technically, they are—because they are made of glass, aluminium, and copper. But the reality is a different story. In the US, it costs roughly $20 to $30 to properly disassemble and recycle a single panel, compared to just $1 to $5 to dump it in a landfill.
Because there is little financial incentive to disassemble and recycle parts, around 90% of decommissioned panels in the US and a large share of turbine blades worldwide go straight into the ground.
These devices are highly complex. A solar panel is an industrial ‘sandwich’ bound tightly by heavy polymers. Extracting the microscopic amounts of valuable silver and high-purity silicon requires energy-intensive chemical and thermal processing.
When crushed or left to fracture in landfills, heavy metals like lead and cadmium leach into surrounding soil and groundwater, turning ‘clean energy’ into a multi-generational hazardous waste problem.
The crisis is accelerating faster than models ever predicted. As solar cells degrade and newer, cheaper panels hit the market, consumers and solar farms are ripping out functional systems a decade early to repower and upgrade.
The dream of renewable energy from sunlight and wind has, in reality, created an endless loop of unrecyclable industrial trash.
