Our national keynote is Dr. Marjon Pasmooij from the Science Department af the Dutch Medicines Evaluation Board and the UMCU where she holds an Associate Professorship on Drug Regulatory Science. A nice example on how to combine academia with drug regulatory affairs!

#apaperaday final @Dutch_Antisense#DATS2024 pick from Suarez-Herrera et al including today's keynote @collinrwj from @Cells_MDPI on developing an antisense oligonucleotide (ASO) for a very rare ABCA4 mutation for a patient with Stargardt disease DOI: 10.3390/cells13070601
#DATS2024 seems to be inspiring for @oligogirl as she is creating a zoo. Funny enough, in Rotterdam there is the Blijdorp Zoo, perhaps at the end of the meeting we need to release them there?
We had a great keynote lecture given by Shalini Andersson from @AstraZeneca. We learnt about siRNA, ASO, conjugates, and endosomal escape amongst many different interedting topics
The last young researcher is Manon Bouckaert from Ghent univeristy (@CoppietersF@ElfrideDe) talking about targeting variants in the 5’UTRs, which are frequently overlooked #DATS2024
The first #DATS2024 keynote lecture is given by Shalini Andersson from @AstraZeneca.
